Honestly it feels to me as though they were teasing or testing the censors--"How close can we get to having them kiss without it actually happening?"

If the censors are looking at intended or implied same-sex kissing, this would be axed. If the censors only looking at certain overt actions, this would stay.

I mean, there is NO Heterosexual Explanation™, none. But it's still not Gay Kissing! So apparently it's OK!
