Yeah, I think I got used to Chinese actors having different beauty standards. There are pics of Bai Yu with... sticks in his hair? (And not from wuxia shows, just... regular modeling stuff.)

But I grew up with a lot of long-haired teachers (who themselves grew up in the seventies where everyone's idol was John Lennon), so men with long hair were always normal to me. And I love long hair in men, so I adore that ponytail, too.
